Manchester City had just one job to do; deliver the EPL Tittle to Pep Guardiola again, at the ETIHAD STADIUM.
In a game that seemed rather unproductive for the Home side at First Half, as Aston Villa’s Matty Cash found the back of the net in the 37th minute of play. At Second Half, Villa’s Coutinho pulled up another, to further strengthen the lead to 0-2, causing a little bit of panic at the Etihad, as home fans were sent into several states of disbelief.
Pep Guardiola, having brought on a Master piece Sub at the 68th minute, Man City’s Ilkay Gundogan, in the 76th minute, found the first net for his side, with Rodri netting in the second, to bring the game to a tie.
Man City needed just a goal to seal the victory and IIkay Gundogan, once more, delivered the master piece brace goal, to send his side to top flight victory.
Although, while Liverpool had wolves in check at Anfield Stadium, despite Wolves taking the first lead and Sadio Mane netting the equaliser, all in the first half of play. Liverpool would go on to win the match with Salah‘s 84th minute goal and Robertson‘s 89th minute winner, sending a bit of hope to Liverpool fans as they hoped Aston Villa would cause a tie at the Etihad.
Final Whistle at the Etihad, saw Man City win the 2021/2022 EPL Tittle with a 3-2 Full Time score line, and it was only right, as fans made their way into the pitch arena in tremendous celebration..
